Our upscale retreat was thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable, safe, and enriching home away from home where every guest is treated like family. We provide dog boarding services in Rogers, Maple Grove, Plymouth and surrounding areas.
Located on a scenic property in the northwest Twin Cities metro, Red Barn Pet Retreat offers a fun and relaxing alternative to traditional kennel boarding. Every stay includes all-day playtime, giving your pup plenty of opportunities to socialize, explore, and exercise in our expansive indoor and outdoor play areas. Our supervised group play keeps your pup happy and engaged, while a scheduled midday nap gives every guest the chance to unwind, recharge, and get the rest they need before heading back out for more fun. When the day winds down, our comfortable accommodations provide a safe and private space for your pup to relax and settle in for a peaceful evening.

CHECK-IN
Boarding check-in begins at 2:00 PM. For arrivals before this time, an early check-in fee of $34.99 per dog will apply. Early arrivals will be welcomed into our supervised daycare program to start their fun even sooner!
CHECK-OUT
Boarding check-out is at 1:00 PM. For departures after this time, a late check-out fee of $34.99 per dog will apply. Late departures will continue to participate in our supervised daycare program!
MEDICATION
The charge for medication is $2.50 per administration and $9.99 per injection.
FOOD
Please pre-portion your dog's food into individual baggies and clearly label each bag with your dog's first name and the first initial of your last name. If you require us to mix additional ingredients into your pet’s food (e.g., wet food, chicken, or other enticers), an additional fee of $2.50 per meal will apply. Pre-mixed meals that are separated by portion do not incur this fee. We offer refrigeration and freezer storage for pre-mixed food.
CANCELLATION FEE
A cancellation charge in the amount of $45 per boarding space will be charged for reservations cancelled 7 days or less from the day of the boarding start date. Dog boarding rates start at $69.99 per day for a 4x4 accommodation. Larger accommodations are available, including 4x8 suites and Luxury suite options. Additional dogs from the same family receive discounted rates.
Yes, daycare is included with your dog's boarding stay! Boarding guests enjoy both indoor and outdoor group play throughout the day at no additional charge.
Regular boarding check-in begins after 2:00 PM on the day of your reservation. Early drop-off is available for an additional half-day daycare charge.

At Red Barn Pet Retreat, your pet’s comfort is our top priority. Our climate-controlled playrooms and suites include heated floors, ensuring every guest feels cozy and at home. Each suite features a raised cot for extra comfort, so there’s no need to pack a bed or blanket—though we’re happy to provide a complimentary Red Barn blanket upon request. For check-in, please bring your pup on a leash and collar, with pre-packaged food for each meal. If your dog would enjoy it, you’re welcome to include a small toy or chew bone.
Yes. Medication administration is available for an additional fee. Injection administration is also available. Please discuss your dog's medication requirements with the team before boarding.
